Static guards remain at their post on your
premises for a set period of time. Having
our officers on your premises is the best
choice for improving security. Our officers
are there to put everyone at ease. Our
objective is to make the environment a
better place through our presence.
Elements of our service include ensuring
that that your premises are secure in
every way possible after your staff have
exited. Our officers patrol the building
to ensure any utilities left on are
turned off and reported; any unsecured
assets are stored away or secured. Our
actions are all about prevention of loss,
prevention of loss due to negligence,
(such as heaters left on,) theft, (such
as burglary,) or opportunity (such as
open windows/doors).

They are personally selected and trained by
our director, Gary Swan. Gary is a
certified NZQA National Certificate in
Security Trainer, and current (2008 – 2010)
ETITO committee member responsible for
setting the standards for all national
security personnel certifications in this
country. Before being considered for such a
role, all standing security personnel in
our organisation must meet the following
criteria:
- Have a clean police record;
- Hold a Current First Aid
Certificate;
- Be nationally certified in Security
Procedures and Customer Service to NZQA
Level 3 (National Certificate in
Security Level 3 (preferred level 4 or
higher);
- Obtain a successful clearance from
a Translegal Services NZ Ltd Private
Investigations Staff Member.
Only then are they permitted to hold a
position in the security division of this
organisation.
The Director brings with him extensive
experience in conducting security and
shrink audits to identify the risk
associated with premises and formulate a
non-biased proposal to help reduce that
risk.
